On Saturday, July 21st, The FutureStep Programme launched its first event in Dubai at GEMS Winchester School Dubai (WSD) before the end of term.

Solus City was a Founding Partner and the Official Event Partner of The FutureStep Programme in Dubai!

The team received wonderful feedback from students and parents. It was inspiring to meet such a talented group of young individuals, and if we were able to boost the confidence of even a few of them regarding their future, then it was all worthwhile!

The day was filled with exciting challenges, fantastic prizes, and opportunities to develop real-world skills.

Led by professional athletes, industry experts, and top coaches, this event harnessed the power of sport to enhance skills, achieve goals, and prepare participants for their next steps – in school, in life, and future careers!

THE FUTURESTEP PROGRAMME

  • Athlete-led workshops focused on skill development in sport
  • Team-based challenges to foster leadership and communication skills
  • Problem-solving simulations that encourage quick thinking and smart actions
  • Health and Wellbeing sessions that teach how to fuel the body and mind properly
  • An experience with sport technology that involves active exercise using elite performance tech
  • Certificates, prizes, and high-energy fun throughout the day

"As a former football player, I believe in the values that sport instills – resilience, teamwork, and ambition. I am excited to help young people explore how these values can lead to success both on and off the field," said Milenko Bujandric, General Manager of Solus City.

This partnership goes beyond just having a logo on a banner; it's about a shared purpose. Together, we are opening doors for students by providing them with real-life exposure, development opportunities, and skills that will help them navigate whatever path they choose next.

From golf and grassroots boxing events to supporting school-based initiatives like ours, Solus City continues to demonstrate that business can be a powerful force for good in the GCC.
